Kaytonya
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. I've always had a love for cooking, flowers, babies, music of all kinds, theatre and dancing. Before life at the shop, I spent many years working in restaurants and 15 years building cars at Honda. In 2010, I began helping part-time at the front counter of Flesh to Fantasy, after encouraging Mike years earlier to pursue tattooing full-time. What started as a small role eventually grew into a bigger part of my life. By 2017, I became certified in permanent makeup to be more hands-on with the shop, and in 2021, I officially joined full-time. I still laugh thinking about how Mike used to shoo me out, saying I'd scare people off - now he brags about how much everyone loves me at the front desk.
For me, this isn't just a job - it's about connection with people. I love talking with clients, hearing their stories, and helping them find the perfect way to express their personalities. People say I'm blunt, direct, honest and sassy, but they'll also tell you I'm kind, fair, loyal, nurturing and compassionate. Maybe that's why so many call me "Mama" around the shop - and honestly, I don't mind it one bit. Being a mom, in every sense of the word, is one of my greatest joys.
